Meet our Teacher

Marialuisa Elias, the co-founder of Transcendence, is a seasoned Reiki Master and Teacher. She specializes in a variety of Reiki methods, including Holy Fire® World Peace, Karuna®, Usui/Tibetan, and Kundalini Reiki. Her classes are designed to be nurturing and supportive, creating a fun environment where students are encouraged to explore and develop their unique gifts and healing abilities. Marialuisa is dedicated to empowering her students as they embark on their journey of personal and spiritual growth.

Reiki
Reiki Classes

Reiki is a gentle and powerful healing practice from Japan that connects you to your inner ability to heal. Reiki heals emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. To learn Reiki you don’t require any special skills or prior training, only a willingness to learn with an open heart. We offer all three levels of Usui/Holy Fire® World Peace Reiki in both in-person and online formats.

Reiki Connection

Reiki Connection is more than a practice space—it’s a supportive community of shared healing, learning, and growth. Meeting monthly in person at our Mississauga location, these sessions offer the opportunity to give and receive Reiki, exchange insights, and deepen your relationship with the energy in a grounded, embodied way.
Through hands-on practice and group connection, participants often experience increased confidence, clarity, and trust in their intuitive abilities. Whether you’re newly attuned or have years of experience, you are welcome here.

All Reiki levels and lineages are welcome. Proof of attunement required.

Usui/Holy Fire® World Peace Reiki

Holy Fire® Reiki, channeled by William Lee Rand in 2014, is a refined healing energy containing a higher level of consciousness. The method has evolved over the years to adapt to societal needs including the ability to teach and learn online. Holy Fire® Reiki works at deep levels so you release any limitations that prevent you from living your most authentic life, and become your most authentic self.

Level 1

In Level 1 students receive the first placement (previously called attunement) that activates the ability to use Reiki to heal yourself and others.

In this first course you will learn:

  • What Reiki is and what it is not
  • Brief history of Reiki and Holy Fire®
  • How Reiki Works
  • The Reiki Ideals
  • Overview of the chakra system, aura and meridians
  • The three pillars of Reiki and Reiki techniques, such as Gassho Meditation, Byosen Scaning, Reiji-ho and Kenyoku.
  • The basic and standard hand positions for both self-treatments and treating others
Reiki Class Policies and Administration Fees
  • Our classes are small in size to facilitate learning, therefore register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot.
  • A $100 deposit is required to secure your spot. Payment needs to be submitted in full no later than two weeks prior to the date of the class.
  • There is a non-refundable fee of $50 in case of cancellations and a $100 recovery fee in case the cancellation happens three days prior to the workshop.
  • If you have not taken classes with Marialuisa, we need a copy of your certificates for levels 2 and up as well as for Reiki repeats.

IMPORTANT: To participate, you must register for both Reiki 1 and Reiki 2. However, if you already have your Reiki 1 certificate, you are welcome to enroll in Reiki 2 on its own.

Level 2

In Level 2 students receive the second placement (previously called attunement) to deepen their ability to channel Reiki and use the Reiki II symbols.

Topics covered include:

  • History and the use of Reiki II symbols
  • Distance healing and group treatments
  • Reiki techniques such as Gyoshi-ho, Jacki-Kiri and Joka-ho
  • Your manual will also include the Hayashi Reiki Healing Guide
Reiki Class Policies and Administration Fees
  • Our classes are small in size to facilitate learning, therefore register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot.

Master Level

The Master Level, a very powerful and enriching level, provides deep healing and a richer understanding of your calling and true purpose in life. The Master Level also gives the student the ability to teach Reiki if they decide to do so.

Topics covered include:

  • The history and use of the Master and Holy Fire® Symbols
  • The concepts of the authentic self, the culturally-created self, and the dormant self.
  • How to use crystals and stones with Reiki
  • Techniques such as the Reiki Moving Meditation and Holy Fire® Meditation
  • The values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master
  • Reiki code of ethics and standards of practice
  • Tips on how to start and grow a successful Reiki practice
  • Strategies to teach Reiki

Reiki Connection

Reiki Connection is open to all Reiki practitioners, no matter where you are on your journey. Whether you practice regularly, are just beginning, are returning after time away, or simply want to explore and enjoy Reiki in community, this space is for you. There is no pressure to perform—only an invitation to show up, practice, receive, and grow at your own pace.

Each session offers time for hands-on Reiki practice, giving and receiving healing, shared learning, and connection in a relaxed and supportive environment. Below you’ll find the upcoming dates and details for our monthly gatherings in Mississauga.
